How we check every calculator and guide before it is published.

SourcesWorked examplesCorrections

Sources first

Every rule comes from the published law or an official explanation (a ministry page, the official gazette, or a reputable legal or news explanation of the law). The source is linked on the page with the month it was checked.

Worked examples

Each calculator and guide shows its formula and at least one example. Every example number is worked out twice before it is published, and the calculator is tested with the same numbers.

Plain words, no promises

We write in plain English, call every result an estimate, and say clearly when a rule is not certain, differs by place or may have changed. We never claim to be a government service.

Independence

No employer, company or advertiser pays to change a figure or a guide. If GulfDues shows ads in the future, ads will never change what a calculator says.

Corrections

If a law changes or we find a mistake, we fix the page and update its date. Tell us at [email protected].
